About me

Hi I’m Briana Lauren (Dominguez) Czubkowski (chub•cow•ski) you can call me Bree. I’m a NYC design leader.

As a product design leader, thoughtful collaborator, and proud tea-party host (courtesy of my 6-year-old daughter). I currently lead a team of designers at Meta, where I focus on creating impactful, scalable experiences that help people and businesses grow with intention.

Over the past decade, I’ve helped startups cross the chasm from scrappy to acquired, led award-winning design at Macy’s, and built design cultures that balance high standards with deep trust. My leadership style is rooted in listening first, coaching intentionally, and showing up with both curiosity and clarity—especially in chaotic times.

Outside of work, I’m part of a creative household. My husband builds guitars. I build cozy corners. We both obsess over good coffee. These details matter, because they reflect how I show up: human-first, design-forward, and always thinking about how things feel as much as how they function.

I love collaborating with kind, sharp people—whether it’s solving a hairy product problem, mentoring a design team, or dreaming up new ventures. If that sounds like you, let’s talk.

What others say about me...

“Briana has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity, and dedication... Her passion for design is contagious, and she has played a key role in streamlining the onboarding process... In addition to her leadership skills, Briana has also made significant contributions to the success of our products. She has a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of what it takes to create truly innovative designs.”

– John, Direct report

“Briana is a fearless leader that empowers her team to do great work. I specially appreciate her transparency in times of adversity, as these are the times where we need more of her support... In the day to day work, she allows her reports to be autonomous. That trust does not go unnoticed. By allowing her team to be autonomous we are able to use the challenges we face as opportunities for growth.”

– Katia, Direct report

“In my few months having Bree as a manager, I can honestly say that I feel a genuine sense of care and openness. I am very impressed with her ability to connect with her design team on a personal level and at the same time direct our efforts to drive impact efficiently without feeling any added pressure.”

– Devin, Direct report

“I had the pleasure of working with Bree last year, and I'm confident in saying that she's one of the best managers I've ever had. Despite our relatively short time together, Bree made a significant impact on our team and organization.

One of Bree's greatest strengths is her ability to provide opportunities for growth and development within our group.”

– Christian, Direct report

“Briana consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that her team members are aligned with their career goals and level expectations. At the beginning of the half, she reviewed everyone's roadmap and identified capacity to make sure projects were aligned with individual goals. During our 1:1s, Briana shared relevant information about the org, my expectations, and constantly provided feedback to address any issues with the team.”

– Iris, Direct report

“I've never seen someone be able to push something forward like Bree. She has an innate ability to see where & when progress is stalling and be able to find the next clear step to get everyone aligned. I am learning a lot from her delegation skillset in moments like those where she divides up a problem and gets everyone to participate in the solution.”

– Justice, Direct report

“Bree has been an incredible partner in evolving the EP [D]esign Brief template in context of our new Release Readiness process.

Without her drive, creative problem solving to garner IC adoption, and bias towards action in partnering with our ops lead, we wouldn't have hit our Q2 milestone.”

– Clea, Director of User Research

“Bree created significant impact in 2024 as the PD manager for Spend with attribution as both a manager and individual contributor. She personally filled a void of strategic vision and thought leadership on multiple products within the portfolio”

– Matt, Director of Product Management
