Context

Macy's Digital Experience expanded fast, with the structural pain that comes with rapid hiring: no career rubric, ambiguous Lead role, performance reviews running on subjective vibes. At the same time, Macy's launched a 6-month full-site rebrand across Macy's and Bloomingdales — agency-led discovery, internal team executing. I led three teams: Transactions (Add-to-Bag, Bag, Checkout, Confirmation, Payment, and Credit) and Customer Support (Signup/Sign-in, Account, Post-Purchase Experience, Fraud & Security, and Customer Support) and Omni (Loyalty, Delivery & Fulfillment, and Returns) additionally I authored the career framework on the side.

Outcomes

Full rebrand shipped on time across two brands. A/B testing showed flat-to-minor decreases at launch (expected, given the older customer base) — financial recovery and positive press followed in subsequent quarters. Career framework adopted org-wide, drove actual promotions, became a company standard.
